SMARTEES builds synergies with sister projects

Five Horizon 2020 projects working on energy-related topics – SMARTEES being one of them – took part in the Contractors' Workshop on Social Sciences and Humanities organised by the Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA). The projects came together to identify the ways to collaborate and thus boost their efforts for making energy policies more consumer- and citizen-centred.

The workshop took place on 9 October 2018 at INEA's premises in Brussels. It brought together representatives of the European Commission, INEA, the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) and the following projects:

Policy-makers explained what kind of support they expect from the invited project in order to foster the work on the energy transition and consumer and citizens empowerment. The projects further presented their current results. Building on their plans for the dissemination of project outputs, the participants defined areas for collaboration and planned the implementation of joint actions and events.
